Model and Year: 1989 GEO METRO
TO: ALL CHEVROLET DEALERS

The purpose of this bulletin is to correct the spark plug information shown in the 1989 GEO Metro Service Manual.

The spark plug type shown on page 0B-7 is incorrect. The correct spark plug type is: A/ C (R42XLS); NGK (BPR6ES-11) and ND (W20EPR-U11).

The spark plug gap is not shown in Section 6D4 of the Service Manual or on the Emission Label, to correct this oversite the correct spark plug gap is listed below:

Spark Plug Gap is: 0.039 - 0.043 in. (1.0 - 1.1 mm)
