1. Using 12 volt battery, connect as shown in Fig. 59.
2. Motor should rotate between 38 and 46 RPM.
3. Testing park operation as follows:
a. Using 12 volt battery, connect as shown in Fig. 60.
b. Perform step A several times and verify that motor stops in same position each time.
4. Check brush and commutator as follows:
a. Check orange terminal to black lead wire for continuity. If no continuity, check brush and commutator area for proper contact condition. If fouled clean area, if surface is coarse or burned, polish area with sandpaper.
