Valves guides can be driven out through the combustion chamber side of the the cylinder head, using tool No. J-35267 or equivalent. Prior to installation, apply engine oil to outer surface of replacement valve guide. Drive valve guide into bore on cylinder head from camshaft side. Valve guide should be driven to a height of .6693 inch form upper cylinder head surface, Fig. 7. After installation, check valve stem to guide clearance and ream valve guide as necessary.
