Fig. 4 Stoplamp & Clutch Start Switch Locations:
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect electrical connector from stoplamp switch.
3. Loosen stoplamp switch locknut, then unthread switch from bracket, Fig. 4.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Thread stoplamp switch into bracket until tip of switch is gently resting on pedal arm.
5. Carefully thread stoplamp switch in, until freeplay between brake pedal and push rod is just eliminated, then tighten locknut.
