Fuel Tank Assembly

WARNING: Before attempting any type of service on fuel tank:

^ Disconnect negative battery terminal
^ Place "NO SMOKING" signs near work area
^ Have a dry chemical (class B) fire extinguisher handy
^ Wear safety glasses
^ Store access fuel in explosion-proof container

Fuel Tank:

1. Disconnect negative battery terminal.

2. Remove fuel filler cap.

3. Drain fuel tank Fuel Tank Draining

4. Disconnect sending unit wire from fuel tank terminal.

5. Unfasten clips and disconnect fuel delivery and fuel return hose from the side of fuel tank.

6. Take out fuel filler pipe bracket bolts.

7. Remove two fuel tank mounting bolts on both front and rear side. Remove fuel tank assembly.
