Tie Rod: Service and Repair
When a
tie rod or
tie rod end is replaced, check toe and
steering angle using suitable turning radius gauges. If steering angle is not 37-2/3~ inside and 32-1/2~ outside, check right and left tie rods for equal length.
If tie rod length is changed to correct steering angle, reinspect toe in.
