Band Apply Servo: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Remove left front wheel and tire assembly.
4. Remove left lower control tension rod assembly.
5. Disconnect tie rod from left steering arm.
6. Remove one oil pan attaching bolt nearest servo cover.
7. Install servo piston compressor J-35278 or equivalent, and compress the servo cover. Remove cover and retaining ring, then the cover.
8. Remove tool and servo assembly from transaxle assembly.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
