System Check

Refer to DIAGNOSTIC CHARTS, for complete system diagnosis.

Motor Test
Using a digital multimeter, take measurements and compare the results to the specifications in Fig. 65. If the motor does not operate as specified, replace motor.
1. Connect battery positive lead to terminal 2, Fig. 66.
2. Connect battery negative lead to wiper motor body.
3. If wiper motor does not operate as specified in Fig. 65, replace motor.

Park Position Inspection
1. Connect battery positive lead to terminal 2, Fig. 66.
2. Connect battery negative lead to wiper motor body.
3. Remove battery positive lead from terminal 2. Time this disconnection so that the wiper stops in any position other than ``Park'' position.
4. If operation does not end in the ``Park'' position, replace wiper motor.
