Handling of Compressor Oil

The oil used to lubricate the compressor is circulated along with the refrigerant. This particular A/C compressor does not use standard 525 viscosity compressor oil. It uses a special type of oil, GM # 12345762. Do not mix this oil with other types of compressor oil. Also, the oil must be free of moisture, dirt, metal shavings, etc.

NOTICE: Failure to use GM # 12345762 compressor oil, or to follow the above procedures could result in a chemical reaction, a decrease in oil viscosity and system integrity.
