Wiper Motor: Service and Repair

Front

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect wiper motor electrical connector.
3. Remove four attaching bolts, then pull wiper motor away from bulkhead. Gently pry wiper linkage from wiper motor crank arm.
4. Remove wiper motor.
5. Reverse procedure to install.

Rear

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove plastic retaining clips and rear door inner trim panel.
3. Remove attaching screws securing rear wiper motor to rear door.
4. Remove screw and rear wiper motor ground wire from rear door. Gently pry wiper linkage from wiper motor crank arm.
5. Remove wiper motor.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
