Wiper Relay: Testing and Inspection

Fig. 19 Intermittent Wiper Relay Test Connections.:

1. Disconnect wiper/washer switch connector.
2. Using 12 volt battery, connect positive terminal to black terminal on connector and negative terminal to yellow/blue terminal on connector, Fig. 19 .
3. Turn intermittent switch to Off position. If an operating sound is heard from relay, it is operating properly. If no sound is heard, replace relay.
