Cruise Control Servo Cable: Service and Repair

1. Remove actuator cover, then loosen cable locknuts.
2. Disconnect control cable from actuator lever and bracket.
3. Disconnect cable from three underhood guide clips, Fig. 27 .
4. Remove cable from cruise control bellcrank above accelerator pedal, Fig. 27 .
5. Unclip cable grommet at bulkhead.
6. Remove control cable.
7. Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a. Inspect cable for fraying, loose fit or excessive wear, replace as necessary.
b. Torque cable locknuts to 44 inch lbs.
