1. Remove inflator module from steering wheel as follows:
a. Place front wheels in straight ahead position.
b. Remove side trim covers from steering wheel.
c. Remove two Torx head screws, release connector position assurance (CPA) and disconnect upper steering column connector, Fig. 28 .
d. Remove inflator module from steering wheel.
2. Disconnect cruise control switch electrical connector from air bag coil assembly, Fig. 29 .
3. Open terminal position assurance (TPA) on top of cruise control switch electrical connector using a terminal remove from J 38125-A terminal repair kit or equivalent.
