Cruise Control Module: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. On models equipped with automatic transaxles, move shifter to L (Low) position.
3. On models equipped with manual transaxles, remove gear shift knob and boot from lever, then move shifter to 4th gear.
4. Remove center console trim bezel, then disconnect electrical connectors from rear defogger switch, hazard switch and cigar lighter at rear of center console trim bezel.
5. Remove center console tray, then four screws and radio.
6. Disconnect electrical connectors and antenna lead from rear of radio.
7. Remove five screws and rear console from vehicle.
8. On models equipped with automatic transaxles, remove shifter trim bezel from center console.
9. Remove two screws and center console from vehicle.
10. Disconnect CCM electrical connector, then remove two bolts and CCM from vehicle.
11. Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a. Torque CCM bolts to 7.5 ft. lbs.
b. Torque battery ground cable to 11 ft. lbs.
