Handling A Deployed Inflator Module
Always wear gloves and safety glasses when handling deployed
air bag and
inflator module. After deployment, the metal surfaces of the inflator module will be very hot and the surface of the deployed air bag may be covered with sodium hydroxide which can irritate skin.
