Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair



Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP):






REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative (-) battery cable.
2. Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) sensor electrical Connector.
3. One bolt and CKP sensor from the oil pan.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. CKP sensor to oil pan; secure with one bolt. Tighten CKP sensor bolt to 10 Nm (7.5 lb ft).
2. CKP sensor electrical connector.
3. Negative (-) battery cable. Tighten negative (-) battery cable-to-negative (-) battery terminal.
