Planetary Carrier

Inspect
- Planetary carrier and output shaft (338) for:
Damage.
Distortion.
- Planetary pinions for:
Damage.
Chipped teeth.

Measure
- Pinion clearance at points A and B with a feeler gage. Clearance should be 0.127 to 0.889 mm (0.005 to 0.035 inch).

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Planetary carrier and output shaft assembly (338).
2. Washer (337) and bearing (330).
- Use TRANSJEL J 36850 or equivalent to hold the washer and bearing in place.
