Checking Transaxle Oil Level






1. Raise and suitably support vehicle.
2. Remove transaxle oil level/filler plug from transaxle.

Inspect
- Transaxle oil level. Oil level should be even with the bottom of the transaxle oil level/filler plug hole. If oil level is low, adjust oil level accordingly with Castrol (tm) Syntorq Transmission Fluid GM P/N 12346190, or equivalent.

3. Install transaxle oil level/filler plug into transaxle after applying GM P/N 12346004, or equivalent, to plug threads.

Tighten
- Transaxle oil level/filler plug to 21 N.m (15 lb. ft.).

4. Lower vehicle.
