Control Assembly: Service and Repair

1. Remove fan switch and temperature control knobs.
2. Pry heater control cover panel out, using a screwdriver.
3. Disconnect wire from back of heater control cover panel.
4. Lower steering column and remove dashboard center access panel.
5. Remove two screws attaching front half of console to rear half of console.
6. Remove two remaining console attaching screws, then remove front half of console.
7. Remove screws from front and pull control panel out slightly to gain access to rear of panel.
8. Disconnect air mix cable from heater assembly.
9. Disconnect heater valve cable from heater valve.
10. Disconnect switch wires and remove control panel.
11. Reverse procedure to install.
