Delay Control Module

DELAY CONTROL UNIT TROUBLESHOOTING
1. Remove delay control module and connect 12 volt battery, resistor and switch to module terminals as shown in Fig. 26.
2. Connect positive probe of voltmeter to OUT 1 terminal and connect negative probe to terminal E, then turn on switch. Meter should indicate battery voltage.
3. Turn off switch, then move positive probe of voltmeter to OUT 2 terminal, leaving negative probe connected to E terminal.
4. Meter should indicate 12 volts the moment that switch is closed, and voltage should drop to 1 volt within approximately 0.5 second.
5. If module fails to operate as outlined, replace module and recheck system.
