Frequency Solenoid Valve B


Civic 1500 & CRX Exc. HF
1. Disconnect vacuum hose No. 10 from surge tank A, then plug hose.
2. Disconnect vacuum hose No. 23 from surge tank B, then connect suitable hand vacuum pump.
3. Apply battery voltage to frequency solenoid valve B and draw vacuum from hose No. 23. Vacuum should remain steady.
4. If vacuum remains steady, proceed to step 5. If vacuum does not remain steady, replace frequency solenoid valve B and repeat test.
5. Disconnect battery voltage from frequency solenoid valve B. Vacuum should not be present.
6. If vacuum is not present, connect vacuum hoses and perform ``Feedback Control Solenoid Valve'' test. If vacuum is present, replace frequency solenoid valve B and repeat test.
