Air Injection Vacuum Control Solenoid Valve: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect upper vacuum hose from air control valve and connect suitable hand vacuum pump to valve.
2. Disconnect lower air hose of valve from vacuum hose manifold and connect suitable pressure gauge and hand pump to hose. Blow air into hose.
3. When vacuum is applied to valve, air should flow without resistance and gauge should not register any pressure. When vacuum is released, air should flow with resistance and gauge should register pressure.
4. If valve fails above check, replace valve and repeat test.
