Cranking Signal: Description and Operation
The
air/fuel mixture must be rich for starting. During cranking, the
ECU detects signals from the starter switch and increases the amount of fuel injected into the intake manifold according to engine temperature. The amount of fuel injected is reduced when the starter switch is turned off.
