Power Window Switch: Service and Repair
NOTE: Before you replace a defective switch, disassemble it, clean the contacts and retest. Sometimes dirt on the contacts can affect switch operation.
1.
Lift the front of the switch using a screwdriver.
2.
Pull the switch forward to clear the tab at the rear from the door panel.
3.
Pull up the switch and disconnect the connector, then remove the switch.
