On 1984-85 Accord and 1984-87 Prelude with carbureted engine, assemble piston onto connecting rod so that mark(s) on piston head are on same side as oil hole, Figs. 28 and 29, and install piston/rod assemblies with connecting rod oil hole facing intake manifold side of engine. On 1986-87 Accord and Prelude with fuel injected engine, assemble piston onto connecting rod so that in installed position arrow on piston head will face the timing belt and connecting rod oil holes will face intake manifold side of engine, Fig. 30.
