Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair

Fig. 9 Condenser mounting.:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Discharge refrigerant from A/C system.
3. Remove front grille assembly.
4. Disconnect condenser and discharge lines from condenser, then plug lines and open fittings.
5. Remove condenser mounting bolts, Fig. 9.

6. Remove the radiator upper frame mounting bolts, Fig. 10, and position as much as required to obtain access to condenser for removal.
7. Remove condenser.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
