Place vehicle on level ground with wheels blocked, put transmission in neutral for manual transmission models and in ``park'' for automatic transmission models when bleeding brakes.
1. Turn ignition switch off, then disconnect 6-P inspection connector from connector cover on the right side of front console and connect it to anti-lock brake checker No. 07HAJ-SG0010A or equivalent, Fig. 5.
2. Fill modulator reservoir to max level, then bleed high pressure fluid from maintenance bleeder with special bleeder wrench tool No. 07HAA-SG00101 or equivalent, Fig. 8.
3. Start engine and release parking brake.
4. Turn mode selector to ``6'', then depress brake pedal firmly and press start test button. There should be at least two strong kickbacks. If there are no kickbacks, refill reservoir and repeat this step as necessary.
5. Ensure reservoir is full and install reservoir cap, then check anti-lock function in all modes using anti-lock brake checker as described under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING PROCEDURES/TESTING PROCEDURES/FUNCTION TEST.
