Removal:

1. Remove CYL Sensor electrical connector from Sensor.
2. Remove the three sensor mounting bolts and remove the sensor.

Installation:

1. Install a new O-ring on the sensor housing.
2. Slip the sensor assembly into position.

NOTE: The alignment lugs on the end of the sensor shaft, and it`s mating grooves in the camshaft end are both offset to eliminate the possibility of installing the sensor 180° out of time.

3. Install the three sensor mounting bolts and tighten to 9 lb.ft (12 Nm).
4. Reconnect the sensor electrical connector.
