Ignition Switch: Testing and Inspection
Ignition Switch Test
SRS wire harness is routed near the ignition switch.
WARNING: All SRS wire harnesses and connectors are colored yellow Do not use electrical test equipment on these circuits.
CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the SRS wire harness when servicing the ignition switch.
1. Remove the dashboard lower cover, left knee bolster and left kick panel.
Ignition Switch Test:
2. Disconnect the 7-P connector from the under-dash fuse box.
3. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.
