Relief Valve Replacement

Removal

NOTE: Make sure the suction and discharge ports are plugged with caps.





1. Remove the three bolts, heat insulator, relief valve, and 0-ring.

CAUTION: Be careful not to spill compressor oil, and make sure there is no foreign matter in system.

Installation
1. Clean off the relief valve mating surface.
2. Replace 0-ring with new one at the relief valve, and apply a thin coat of refrigerant oil before installing it.
3. Tighten the relief valve.
4. Check the relief valve for leaks and cap the relief valve with the valve seal.
