Turn Signal Switch: Service and Repair

1. On models equipped with airbag, disarm airbag as described under Air Bags and Seat Belts / Air Bags (Supplemental Restraint Systems / Airbag System Disarming).
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Remove steering wheel and dashboard lower panel.
4. Disconnect electrical connectors from main wire harness and fuse box.
5. Remove steering column upper and lower covers.
6. Disconnect electrical connector from slip ring.
7. Remove two switch retaining screws, then slide switch out of housing.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
9. Rearm airbag, if equipped.
