IGNITION TIMING CONTROL
The programmed ignition in this engine controls ignition timing with a microcomputer, which uses signals from the TDC/CKP/CYP sensor, throttle position (TP) sensor, engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor and MAP sensor, to determine optimum timing. This system uses no governor or vacuum diaphragm.
