Control Assembly: Service and Repair

1. Remove the console.
2. Remove the radio.
3. Disconnect the air mix control cable from the heater unit, refer to Heating and Air Conditioning/Air Duct Cable/Adjustments.

Heater Control Panel Removal:




4. Remove the self-tapping screw. Disconnect the connectors and remove the heater control panel.

NOTE: The locking tabs are on the bottom of the connectors.

5. Install the removed parts in the reverse order of removal, and refer to Adjustments / Cables / Air Mix Control for air mix control cable installation. If necessary, adjust the heater valve cable, refer to Heating and Air Conditioning/Temperature Control Cable/Adjustments.
