Ignition Rotor: Description and Operation
Distributor Cap And Rotor:
The distributor rotor is located on the distributor shaft. The rotor contacts the carbon in the center of the
distributor cap. As the rotor rotates it transfers high voltage from the coil carbon terminal on the distributor cap to the
spark plug terminals in a pre determined sequence (
firing order).
