Removal and Installation/Replacement

1. Remove the power steering pump and the cruise control actuator.

NOTE: Do not disconnect the actuator cable.

Disconnecting The Electrical Connections From The Alternator:

2. Disconnect the 4-P connector from the alternator.
3. Remove the terminal nut and the BLK wire from the B terminal.
4. Loosen the through bolt, then loosen the adjustment locknut, and then the adjusting bolt.
5. Remove the belt from the alternator.
6. Remove the adjustment bolt and nut.

Alternator Removal:

7. Remove the through bolt, then remove the alternator.
8. After installing the alternator, refer to Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Alternator/Service and Repair
