Timing Belt: Service Precautions

Timing Components:

NOTE:
- Refer to Installation for positioning crankshaft and pulley before installing the belt.
- Mark the direction of rotation on the belt before removing.
- Do not use the upper cover and lower cover for storing disassembled items.
- Clean the upper cover and lower cover before installing.
- Replace the camshaft seals and crankshaft seals if there is oil leakage.
- Clean the crankshaft pulley, pulley bolt, timing balancer belt drive pulley, timing belt drive pulley, and crankshaft end before reassembly.
