Oil Pan, Engine
TIGHTENING SEQUENCE/SPECIFICATIONS Oil Pan Bolts:
1.
Tighten bolts and nuts finger tight at six points as shown.
2.
Tighten all bolts and nuts, starting from nut (1) clockwise in three steps.
3.
Final torque achieved is
14 Nm (10 ft. lbs.).
CAUTION: Excessive tightening can cause distortion of the
oil pan gasket an cause oil leakage.
Oil Pan Baffle:
12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.)
