ATTS Unit Oil

FILLING

NOTE: This service is necessary after you disassemble or replace the
ATTS unit. Perform this service when the ATTS unit is cool.

1. Raise the vehicle, and support it with safety stands in the proper locations. For accurate readings, the vehicle must be level.
2. Remove the filler plug.
3. Fill the recommended oil.
- Recommended oil: Genuine Honda Premium Formula Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF).
- Quantity: 1.4 l (1.5 US.qt).

4. Replace the washer, and loosely install the filler plug.
5. Perform the ATTS function test.
6. Check that the system is OK, then perform the ATTS unit oil inspection.
7. After inspection, tighten the filler plug.

REPLACEMENT

NOTE:
- This service is for oil replacement only.
- Perform this service when the ATTS unit is cool.

1. Raise the vehicle, and support it with safety stands in the proper locations.

NOTE: For accurate readings, the vehicle must be level.

2. Remove the drain plug, then drain the oil.
3. After draining the oil, install and tighten the drain plug.
4. Remove the filler plug.
5. Fill the recommended oil.
- Recommended oil: Genuine Honda Premium Formula Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF).
- Quantity: 0.95 l (1.00 US.qt).
6. Replace the washer, and loosely install the filler plug.
7. Perform the ATTS unit oil inspection.
8. After inspection, tighten the filler plug.
