SERVICE TIP:
If owners are complaining of long engine crank times, the problem could be a bad fuel pressure regulator. Fuel pressure regulator failure can be intermittent. Verify the complaint with your customer. You can replace the fuel pressure regulator without replacing the fuel pump.
