Clearing IMA DTC(s) With a Generic Scan Tool

BACKGROUND

If you are using a generic (non-Honda) scan tool to clear an IMA DTC(s), you must enter two clear commands into the scan tool to completely clear the DTC(s). This is necessary only when using a generic scan tool, not when using the Honda Diagnostic System (HDS).
