MIL Comes On With DTC P0135, P0155, P0462, or U0110

REVISION SUMMARY

*Under WARRANTY CLAIM INFORMATION, the operation number was changed.*

SYMPTOM

The MIL is on with one of these DTCs:

^ P0135 [rear A/F sensor (bank 1, side 1) heater circuit malfunction]

^ P0155 [front A/F sensor (bank 2, side 1) heater circuit malfunction]

^ P0462 (fuel level sensor circuit low voltage)

^ U0110 (IMA-CAN malfunction)

PROBABLE CAUSE

When the 12 volt battery voltage is low, the PGM-FI software will set these DTCs.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Update the PCM software.

DIAGNOSIS

Connect the HDS to the DLC, and check for DTCs in the PGM-FI section. In the freeze data, check the battery voltage.

Is the freeze data battery voltage less than 10.5 volts?

^ YES - Go to REPAIR PROCEDURE.

^ NO - Continue with normal DTC troubleshooting.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

Update the PGM-FI software using HDS version 1.018.016 or later. To update the PGM-FI software, refer to service bulletin 01-023, Updating Control Units/ Modules.
