DTC B2080: Right Power Sliding Door Touch Sensor Signal Error

NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.

1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
2. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then back ON (II).
3. Check for the DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC B2080 indicated?

YES - Go to step 4

NO - Intermittent failure The power sliding door system is OK at this time Check for loose or poor connections at the right power sliding door control unit connector, and at the right power sliding door touch sensor connector.

4. Turn the ignition switch OFF.

5. Disconnect the 2P connector from the right power sliding door touch sensor




6. Measure resistance between the right power sliding door touch sensor 2P connector No 1 and No 2 terminals

Is there 1.1 kOhms or more?

YES - Replace the right power sliding door touch sensor.

NO - Go to step 7.

7. Disconnect the 22P connector from the right power sliding door control unit




8. Check for continuity between the right power sliding door control unit connector A (22P) No 15 terminal and right power sliding door touch 'sensor 2P connector No 1 terminal

Is there continuity?

YES - Go to step ?

NO - Repair an open in the wire.




9. Check for continuity between the right power sliding door control unit connector A (22P) No 19 terminal and right power sliding door touch sensor 2P connector No 2 terminal

Is there continuity?

YES - Replace the right power sliding door control unit.

NO - Repair an open in the wire.
