Center Sliding Door Roller: Service and Repair

Sliding Door Rear Pulley Mount Replacement

NOTE:
- Be sure to disable the power sliding door by turning the main switch off.
- Have an assistant help you when removing and installing the power sliding door motor unit.
- Use seat covers to avoid damaging any surfaces.
- Take care not to scratch the center rail and body.
- Take care not to drop and damage the door.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Remove these items:
- Sliding door
- Rear side trim panel
- Second row seat belt retractor
- Taillight
2. Power sliding door: Remove the screws, then remove the speaker, and disconnect the connector.
3. Power sliding door: Pull back the plastic cover.
4. Power sliding door right side: Release the hooks, then remove the rear blower unit cover.
5. Power sliding door: Detach the cable clips. Pull up the stoppers, and push the cables toward the motor.
6. Power sliding door: Pull the stoppers farther up to hold the cables in place.
7. Power sliding door: Release the power sliding door motor unit cable from the center rail.
8. Power sliding door: Remove the center roller.
9. Power sliding door; Disconnect the power sliding door motor unit cable from the center roller.
10. Power sliding door: Remove the nuts securing the rear pulley.
11. Remove the bolt and screw, then slide the center rail cover back and remove it.




12. Remove the nuts, and remove the rear pulley mount (A).
13. Install the rear pulley in the reverse order of removal.
