Middle Row Seat Will Not Unlatch
SYMPTOM
The middle row seat will not unlatch because one or both of the release cables have detached from the release lever.
PROBABLE CAUSE
Improper adjustment of the middle row seat release cables.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace any damaged release levers. Reinsert the middle seat release cables into the release levers.

Any repair performed after warranty expiration may be eligible for goodwill consideration by the District Parts and Service Manager or your Zone Office. You must request consideration, and get a decision, before starting work.
DIAGNOSIS
Verify that both the inner and outer lock release cables are attached at the release lever. If either cable is disconnected, or the release lever shows any signs of wear, go to REPAIR PROCEDURE.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Remove the middle seat from the vehicle.
2. Remove the recline cover, the riser cover, and the beverage holder.
3. Inspect the middle seat release lever for wear and damage:
^ If it shows any sign of wear or damage, replace the middle seat release lever, and go to step 4.
^ If the middle seat release lever is in good condition, go to step 4.
4. Unhook both the inner and outer seat release cables, and reattach the cables to the release levers if necessary.
5. Reinsert the cables into the clips, and reinsert the cable holder into the middle slot.
6. Reinstall the beverage holder, the riser cover, and the recline cover.
7. Reinstall the seat.
8. Repeat steps 1 thru 7 on the other seat if necessary.
