Cabin Air Filter / Purifier: Service and Repair

Dust and Pollen Filter Replacement

The dust and pollen filter should be replaced every 30,000 miles (48,000 km) or 24 months whichever comes first. Replace the filter more often if the airflow is less than usual.

1. Open the glove box. Remove the damper from the glove box then let the glove box hang down.

2. Remove the dust and pollen filter assembly from the evaporator case.

3. Remove the filter (A) from the housing (B), and replace the filter.
4. Install the filter in the reverse order of removal. Male sure that there is no air leaking out of the evaporator.
