DTC 37: Tire Pressure Sensor Low Battery Voltage

NOTE: This problem occurs only when the temperature around the sensor is -40°F (-40°C) or lower, Note that the diagnosis must be made in a place where ambient temperature is -4°F (-20°C) or higher.

1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
Does the TPMS indicator go off within one minute?
YES-The system is OK at this time. Clear the DTC.
NO-Go to step 2.





2. Read the tire pressure sensor voltage with the HDS.

NOTE: If no response is shown on the HDS, turn the ignition switch OFF, rotate the tire quarter turn, then turn the ignition switch ON (II), and try again.

Is the monitor voltage low?
YES-Replace the tire pressure sensor.
NO-Check for loose terminals and poor connections at the TPMS control unit. If necessary, substitute a known-good TPMS control unit and recheck.
