Shift Interlock Switch: Service and Repair

Park Pin Switch Replacement
1. Remove the shift lever assembly.
2. Remove the tape from the harness.
3. Remove the harness band.





4. Remove the A/T gear position indicator panel, and move it up.





5. Remove the park pin switch (A).
6. Install the new park pin switch, and install the A/T gear position indicator panel.
7. Route the harnesses along the harness guide (A), and tie the harnesses and guide with the new band (B).





8. Tie the harnesses together into bundles with new tape (A) in two places.





9. Tie the harnesses and the harness clamp (B) together into a bundle with tape (C).
10. Install the shift lever assembly.
