Trunk / Liftgate Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair
Trunk Lid Lock Cylinder ReplacementNOTE: -
Take care not to scratch the body.

Take care not to bend the cylinder rod.
1.
Remove the trunk lid lock cylinder as shown.
2.
Install the cylinder in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

Make sure the cylinder rod is connected properly.

Make sure the trunk lid opens properly.
