Input Shaft (Mainshaft) Speed Sensor Replacement

Input Shaft (Mainshaft) Speed Sensor Replacement
1. Remove the air cleaner assembly and the air intake duct.
2. Remove the harness clamp (A) from its bracket, and remove the air cleaner housing bracket (B).





3. Disconnect the input shaft (mainshaft) speed sensor connector.
4. Install a new O-ring (A) on the new input shaft (mainshaft) speed sensor (B), then install the input shaft (mainshaft) speed sensor in the transmission housing.





5. Check the connector for rust, dirt, or oil, then connect the connector securely.
6. Install the air cleaner housing bracket, and install the harness clamp on its bracket.
7. Install the air intake duct and the air cleaner assembly.
