Grab Handle Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required
KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014 *
* Available through the American Honda Tool and Equipment Program.

NOTE: Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when prying components.




1. On the front passenger's side: Remove the caps (A), and remove the screws, then remove the grab handle (B).




2. Install the grab handle in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- If the side curtain airbag has deployed, replace the grab handles with new ones.
- To prevent the side curtain airbags from deploying improperly and possibly causing injury, inspect the removed grab handle (A) and replace it if it has any deformations.
